Indecon has a vast network comprising diverse partners; it has been working with a range of organizations representing various sectors in Indonesia. Some of the organizations are:

1. Community groups

Indecon has helped establish Togean Ecotourism Network in Central Sulawesi. The organization also assisted Patrapala Foundation in developing ecotourism design and implementation program in Candirejo, Magelang - Central Java.

2. Non Governmental Organization

In the national level:
Indecon has become a node in the network consisting of a number of NGOs working in ecotourism development. Several NGOs that has collaborated with Indecon include: WWF-Betung Kerihun, Yayasan Patrapala, Yayasan Wallacea (Project Bird Watch), Bali Fokus – Bali, Conservation International Indonesia.

In the international level:
Indecon had signed an MOU with UNEP in conducting discussion and field trip during “UNEP and The Private Sector” PrepCom IV – World Summit on Sustainable Development in Bali, 2002; and MOU with Center for Environmental Leadership in Business (CELB) in doing a survey to identify barriers in the implementation of environmental program for hotels in Bali. Indecon had also signed an MOU with The International Ecotourism Society to publish books, conduct trainings and establish ecotourism network.

3. Government of Indonesia

Indecon is active in assisting the Department of Tourism and Culture in the formulation of national policies and programs for ecotourism development and promotion. Indecon also works together with the Department of Forestry, Department of Internal Affairs, and State Ministry of Environment in conducting ecotourism activities in Indonesia. Indecon has supported local governments at regency level, such as in the province of North Sumatera, Riau, Gorontalo, Papua, West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara in developing ecotourism planning.

4. Private Sector

Indecon has worked together with Bina Swadaya Tours, PT Adventure Indonesia, and PT Lintas Jeram Nusantara in the marketing and promotion of ecotourism products in Indonesia.

5. Colleges/Universities

Indecon has cooperated with colleges and universities as well as research institution in organizing trainings and planning development, such as with Tourism Research Center Bandung Institute of Technology (P2Par – ITB); and in providing internship opportunities for students of Bandung Tourism College (STP Bandung) and Bali Tourism College (STP Bali).

6. Funding agencies

Through the supports of Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF), International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN) – Netherland, New Zealand Agency for International Development (NZAID), and The MacArthur Foundation, Indecon has worked in the development of ecotourism in Indonesia.
